Hello MSCIA’ers!
On September 27th 2020, MSCIA UB successfully held BTS via Zoom. This event was attended by FKUB students of BTS volunteers. We learned sign language together and there were presentations related to the deaf community, “Telinga dan Pendengaran” by dr. Ahmad Dian Wahyudiono Sp.THT-KL(K), “Budaya Tuli dan Bahasa Isyarat dengan teman Deaf Awareness” by Moh. Abu Hasan, and a talkshow with Panji Surya Putra about “Tuli: Kesempatan atau Hambatan?”. All the participants seemed eager and enjoyed the activities.
We also would like to thank all of our media partners, GERKATIN Malang, Shining Tuli Kota Batu, FORMAPI UB, PLJ Indonesia, and Kalimaya Bhaskara Radio who have supported our activities.
Hopefully this event can give the medical students more knowledge as future health workers to be able to communicate with patients who have special needs.
