[REPORT BREAKING THE SILENCE (BTS) 2023]
Hello MSCIAers!
On September 17th 2023, BTS was held at Graha Medika, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University. There are two main sessions. The first session was about "The Importance of Communication to Make a Diagnosis in Deaf Patients" by dr. Khuznita Dasa Novita, Sp. THT-KL and continued with BISINDO material by Kak Arsa followed by material per SWG.
BTS was succesfully held on Sunday, September 24th 2023. There were two main agendas which the first session was about "Sign Language Gymnastics" by Yoga Dirgantara and it was continued with the Ground Campaign in the form of distributing pamphlets, giving petitions and quizzes by volunteers then ended with an HBII parade with Deaf friends.
We would like to thank all participants who have joined us. We hope this event can improve sign language understanding for health workers in the future.
