Human Rights and Peace

Department of Human Rights and Peace (DORP) is the newest department of MSCIA in 2018. We are facilitating students of the Medical Faculty of Brawijaya University who have an interest in human rights issues and their health-related relevance in Indonesia and globally.

There are three areas of focus within the MSCIA’s Department of Human Rights and Peace, capacity building, social action, and external cooperation that will support the DORP work program.

This year, DORP has 2 main projects. There are THE SECRETS (The Solution of Cyber Violence and Increasing Awareness to Prevent Sexual Harassment of Women) which is to increase awareness about Cyber Violence and Sexual Harassment of Women and BIG BANG (Bring Back The Rights), which is to encourage medical students or practicians to take an interest in this issue that is human rights.
