COMDEV FAMILY consists of four main phases: one pre-intervention and three main interventions. The first intervention of COMDEV FAMILY was held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at the Tunjungsekar Sub-District Office, Ikan Piranha Atas Street No. 206, Tunjungsekar, Malang City. Various activities were conducted during this intervention.

The event began with an opening speech by the project officer, followed by a speech from a representative of the local cadres. The main activity continued with a seminar on the topic “The Impact of Anemia in Adolescents on Long-Term Health: Reducing the Risk of Stunting through Iron Intake”, delivered by Dr. dr. Ariani, M.Kes., Sp.A(K). This seminar aimed to increase the cadres’ knowledge about the importance of preventing anemia in adolescents through sufficient iron intake, which can help prevent stunting. The seminar concluded with a question and answer session, allowing the audience to deepen their understanding of the topic.

The next session included the distribution and explanation of logbooks to the cadres. These logbooks contain important information about stunting, including its definition, signs and symptoms, prevention methods, risk factors, and more. This logbook also aims to be a method for following up cadres and maintain their knowledge about stunting. To keep the participants engaged, an ice-breaking session was held midway through the event to lift spirits and encourage participation. The intervention concluded with photo documentation.

This event marks the beginning of the COMDEV FAMILY interventions and will be followed by the second intervention in the near future. The second intervention will be held at June 18th 2025 in the same venue.
